During the main survey, donations were directed to the German Federation for the Environment and Nature Conservation (BUND). More specifically, the donations were directed towards their nature conservation projects and biodiversity.

Nature conservation projects and biodiversity at BUND 

Their large and small conservation projects have an impact throughout all of Germany, creating refuges for many endangered species. Their brochures and guides raise awareness and help with nature conservation right at your doorstep. Persistently, they advocate for stronger environmental policies and push for more nature conservation, including through public campaigns and protests.

During the pilot phase, donations were directed to the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB).
